This is the privacy policy for Viralytics, an analytics platform for content creators and influencers. It explains what personal data and social account data we collect, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and your rights under applicable Indian law — principally the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) and the SPDI Rules, 2011.
It covers the data you provide (email, name, hashed password), the account data fetched from the platforms you connect on your behalf, technical and usage data, and the data we explicitly do not collect. It also documents automated syncing, data sharing with Meta, Google and our infrastructure providers, retention periods, security measures, and your rights of access, correction, and erasure.
Viralytics uses YouTube API Services — the YouTube Data API v3 and the YouTube Analytics API — to read the statistics of the YouTube channel you connect, under the read-only scopes youtube.readonly and yt-analytics.readonly. We cannot upload, edit, delete or comment on anything on your channel. By using the YouTube features of Viralytics you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s handling of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
You can revoke Viralytics’ access to your YouTube data at any time from the Google security settings page at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, or by disconnecting the channel inside Viralytics, which deletes the stored channel data and tokens.
